Yes, I know i'm not old. not at all. not old by a longshot.
but, there are moments that make me feel old.
1) being around 11-13 year olds. they think i'm 40
2) having a sore back and sore feet, going into target to buy arch supports
3) saying the word "awesome"
4) finding grey facial hair. I mean, i've had grey hair since high school, but facial hair? My dad just started getting it last year. my dad laughed and said "blame your mom's side".. makes sense my grandpa and one of my uncles have straight up silver grey hair. its just a matter of time.

i just realized that i've had this website since my sophomore year of college come next month, i'd have had this little thing for about 4 years.
my output has definately declined in the last two years. I really want to try and write more. if not in my blog, at least in a notebook.

so i told you earlier about my optical/visual illusions lesson plan. well, i'm paring back. i'm glad i talked to you about it because i realized how insane i really was. instead of 8 kinds of shite, we'll just do 4. different for 4th and 5th, of course, since we're focusing on differnt (i left the e out on purpose)things. i wish i could come and see you teach. that would be really neat. maybe i could take a few "professional days" to observe in watts. eh? eh? yeeaaah, that's what i'm talkin bout.

This reminds me of the time the wife and I called the cops on a dozen kids yelling the parking lot of Ibiza Tan outside our bedroom window while we were trying to sleep. I held off on calling for at least ten minutes because I didn't want to feel like an old fart, then I realized it was 1 AM on a Tuesday and we had to sleep.
