my new room is a mess. well, half a mess. while one half is the picture of organization and thoughtful planning, the other half of the room looks like the aftermath of hurricane "whatever-the-name-of-the-moment".
This setting is basically a physical manifestation/representation of my mind.
yes, i've been on vacation for the whole month of july, but driving for 2/3 of the month does not exactly translate into relaxation time.
as soon as I got back to LA, it was time to pack up and move my apartment. go figure. then no more than a week passes, and I'm back in KC for another wedding.
finances are a bit tight, and I've gotta make some money. tomorrow I walk into the labor ready office, ready to use my constantly dwindling physical abilites to make a few bucks. It may be real nice to sweat a bit and work with people who aren't in the education field. Unless they are teachers who poorly manage their finances. I'm hopeful.
i sit here drinking a beer, trying to relax. for at least a few moments. I still have tons of shit in storage that I need to move out by the end of the month. Buy back days start the 30th. I need some time to make money, relax, and plan for next year. I don't think i'm the only one in this boat.
If you want to read my "what I did for summer vacation" essay, wait a bit longer. That will come up soon, even more pictures. perhaps even video!
