Wow, I saw a very interesting movie tonight. THe sundance channel played the japanese sci-fi/horror film "Uzumaki" or "spirals".
Based on a popular manga comic book, the main characters deal with a phenomena that deals with spirals and the obsession that follows. filled with spirals, suicide, murder, snails , eerie music and great cinematography, its kind of hard to describe this movie. I was definately intrigued by this film. I'm not gonna even attempt to explain this film, you should see it yourself.. or at least check out the website at.. Uzumaki

eddy,, you might find this movie interesting.. It came out in 2000, im not sure if you can get it here domestically...

Well, the time has come when I cannot ignore the blogger anymore.. I have done everything else and I am finally getting bored.
So, here I sit, suffering through yet another round of (alcohol induced) insomnia. I laid in bed for a good hour, with no chance to fall asleep. I guess I know how eddy feels finally.
i'd like to give you a brief and segmented recall of my last month that I have kept unwritten. mind you, I am very rusty right now, so I apologize for extremely shitty writing technique, content, and overall style.
Well, where do I start? The last time I talked to you, I am still doing that stuff. working out, reading, working etc.. albeit at a much slower pace, well I'm still working alot, but reading and excercise has taken a back seat to resting before and after work.

Well, event # 1 of summer. My Dad's wedding:

Ahhh... beautiful West Coast. Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
My sister and I Arrived in sunny California and of course had a great time with my uncle Steve, aunt Sing, and cousin Ana. THe next day, we drove a good 6+ hours to Las Vegas where I met some friends and some relatives for a night of debauchery. I don't think I got much sleep those days in Vegas.
After rehydrating my self and getting some sleep, I woke up to a beautiful ($$$) breakfast and then accompanined my uncle steve , Ana, and my good buddy Jim to the Star Trek experience. I have always admitted I was a nerd, and I now show evidence. It was so awesome. Not only did it have a Star Trek museum that chronicled every signifigant aspect of the Star Trek universe, it also had a complete timeline of all events in the Star Trek academia. Then, to my further delight, I experienced a recreated Deck, turbo lift and a corridor in the Enterprise. throw in some extremely corny roleplay and a flight simulator ride, my experience was great.

That night, was the wedding rehearsal at the bellagio (my place of residence. as was place of wedding and most other activities). Sadly, the reharsal coincided with a one night only John Stewart show, I'll have to see him some other time. Now mind you, I had some nasty nasty facial hair and long unkempt hair. I was constantly harrased to get it fixed. Of course I wasn't gonna be dirty!

THe next day for the wedding, I cleaned up quite well. Clean shaven, and my long unkempt hair, while still remaining long became fixed up and looked like it was cut. I felt a bit nerdy with my 50's hairstyle, but It looked good.

THe wedding was beautiful bla bla bla as most weddings are. If I paid the amount my dad paid for this bellagio wedding, I better get a great one as well.
The reception was great with great food and a good amount of alcohol consumed. I don't remember that night sadly. luckily we have video and pictures to help refresh my alcohol soaked mind. Dancing, partying, carefree conversations, lots of hugs and kisses from and to relatives made this night a most memorable night. And even more so, it was great for my dad and his wife. congrats guys..

well, off to bed..
more stuff later
